Peel to Save cards
I am a huge fan of Krispy Kreme Donuts and Dairy Queen. I get grumpy when I find out about fundraising coupons involving these brands too late so I'm posting this for my daughter. Her MESA club is selling peel-to-save cards for $10 and they have several coupons for these sugary delicious stores (and more.) Email me if you'd like to see the coupons- I have a pdf file of the card. Thanks.

Summer Music Camps!
“Blast from the Past—Exploring the Lives of Great Composers”
June 10-13, 1:00-3:00
Friedrich Nietzsche once said, "Without music, life would be a mistake." In this camp, we will use instruments, art, crafts, and food to learn to appreciate the music all around us. We will learn about the periods of music, and great composers from each era. Then, we will take a ride in a time machine and blast into the past to meet four composers, up close and personal!
Cost for the camp is $75 for the first family member and $60 for any siblings. A registration fee of $25 will be due May 15. The remaining balance ($50 for first child/ $35 for siblings) will be due the first day of class.
“Bach, Beethoven, and Me—So You Want to Be a Composer”
August 5-8, 9:30-11:30
Join me in a fun, creative camp designed to inspire and equip your children to compose their own pieces of music! Students will leave camp knowing how to make a piece of music reflect its title, use motives, form, and much more. We will learn how to notate music on the computer, and make our own instruments! This camp is full of music listening, music making, and music composing.
Cost for the camp is $75 for the first family member and $60 for any siblings. A registration fee of $25 will be due June 25. The remaining balance ($50 for first child/ $35 for siblings) will be due the first day of class.
The camps dates for the summer camps are not set in stone. If you are unable to attend the dates listed, but are interested, please let me know. We can open up the camps on another week. I need four student attending each camp. Registration fees are non-refundable as they are used to purchase supplies for the camp.

Ventana West Voting!!
Ventana West Residents,
Board of director elections are tomorrow. Please go out and vote! Here is the info:The meeting is Tuesday March 5th, and starts at 6:00 PM and is at The Ventana Ranch Elementary School. 6801 Ventana Village Rd.
The current board has done a lot of things not inline with the rules of the association. Our neighbor Gregg Hull has done a good job with the Ventana Vista community and is running for the Ventana West Board. He would be a great choice to vote for. He is very fair and hears people out with their concerns and comments. :)

BOOK CLUB!
We will hold our monthly evening book club (as always - on the 3rd Thursday):
Thursday, February 21st
7:30pm
Amy's home (Ventana directory)
We will discuss The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom.
Please come to enjoy the discussion of a true holocaust story. The themes in this book are very spiritual and ultimately uplifting despite the circumstances from which they arise. It is a really remarkable story. There will also be plenty of time for socializing and eating treats this evening. On that note, bring treats or appetizers to share :)
New members are invited as well as past members who haven't been in a while. We kind of have a new group going since our mass exodus of move-aways last summer. It's a great time to get started!
Any questions? email michechapman*at*gmail*.*com
