Buckle Seamstress Job Available

Brother Perez, the manager at the Buckle, is in need of hiring a new Seamstress.  The job is mostly Denim work and consists of sewing on lose or missing buttons, zippers and other small things like that. They have a room in the store for the seamstress and two industrial sewing machines to work with. If customers need more work done that the Buckle does not offer, they will allow the seamstress to hand out their business card.  If you or someone you know is interested, please email, call or text Chelsea or Louis P (in the Ventana Ward directory).

We will discuss The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom.

Please come to enjoy the discussion of a true holocaust story.  The themes in this book are very spiritual and ultimately uplifting despite the circumstances from which they arise.  It is a really remarkable story.  There will also be plenty of time for socializing and eating treats this evening.  On that note, bring treats or appetizers to share :)

New members are invited as well as past members who haven't been in a while.  We kind of have a new group going since our mass exodus of move-aways last summer.  It's a great time to get started!

Recipe Group!

Hey all! A couple weeks ago we all shared some really yummy chicken crockpot recipes. It's amazing that with all of us, there were no duplicates. All yummy and all a cinch.

This month we will be working with potatoes. They can be fresh, frozen, dehydrated, etc. However you want to make them, we will take them. Try something new, make something old. We aren't picky.

It will next Tues, Feb 12 at 12pm. It will be at Becca P.'s house. Tell your friend. All are welcome! See ya there!!
