DVD Cases
Great deals on produce!
Corn on the cob- .10 each
Avocado- .50 each
Mango- .68 each
and it seemed like most everything else was decently priced too. Yayy!
Apples .98/lb.
grapes 1.50/lb.
strawberries 1.50/lb.
oranges .50 each
cantaloupe 1.50 each
that's all I can remember. It would definitely be worth it to go and buy a bunch of corn to freeze; there's no limit and that's the best price they get. Everything looked decent too... guess we'll have to see how they taste!!
The Divvy Up!
My friend from Logan Utah is organizing a big consignment sale for Children/Maternity clothes. The sale will be in Logan UT in July but if you want to sell items you can send them with me when I make a trip there in the next few weeks or so. Here is the information for anyone who is interested:
Many of you have heard that we are running a childrens consignment sale this year- a large garage sale of childrens items and maternity wear. This is different than your typical garage sale though, items will be clean, in good condition and organized so finding the things you want will be simple.
No more driving around looking for garage sales to find they have 3 old, worn items to sell. No more wasting your weekend sitting around trying to sell your own items. No more guessing with online buying, wondering if you are going to get what you paid for.
This is easy. Sign up on our website, thedivvyup.com to register your items to sell. Print off your tags and attatch them to your items and then drop them off. We do the selling for you and send you a check when the sale is over. If you'd like to come and shop too, we'd love to have you.
Our sale will run July 9th thru July 11th at the Cache County Fair grounds. Volunteer to help us if you'd like and be invited to come to our presale where you get the first pick of the goods.
So round up your goods- childrens clothing (sizes newborn to childrens 16), childrens funiture, shoes, maternity clothings, toys, books, video games/movies, Halloween costumes, bikes and so on. You set the price and decide if you want the item donated to a local charity at the end of the sale or not. It's just that easy.
Check out our website thedivvyup.com to learn more. Forward this to your friends and neighbors- there are consignor benefits for those who refer others.
Ready to make money and save money? We'll help you divvy up you stuff.

Cleaning out.....
I'm getting rid of a few things before we move, and would like offer them to people in the ward first (before the garage sale Sat.). So if you would like any of the following (or know anyone who would), please call or email me! And call me w/ any questions--I'm too lazy to take pics...
For free:
1. TO A CAT-LOVING FAMILY: Sally our cat Sally is a beautiful, loving calico. She's been mostly an indoor cat and would need updated shots. She's spayed and microchipped. We have a cat bed and a carpeted gym thingie that she likes to play on, along w/ her essentials.
2. Indoor decorative tree
3. Small white cube shelf
4. Tall thin bookshelf (light colored wood, somewhat worn, but still usable)
5. Charcoal barbequer
Other stuff:
1. King-size box springs - $15
2. Pine TV cabinet - $20 (Sturdy, but not super heavy duty, light colored pine)
3. Set of 2 nightstands - $30 (Dark wood w/ silver hardware, oversized, each has two large drawers, really sturdy, has a couple of cosmetic chips/dents on each)
4. Dutailier Glider Rocker w/ Rocking Ottoman - $20 (Lt. blue material)
5. Computer desk - $5 (About 3.5 ft. X a little over 1.5 ft. - black sides and honey-colored top, somewhat worn)
6. Desk - $5 (About 3 ft. X 2 ft. - Simple metal poles desk, could be used for student desk or computer desk)
7. portable DVD player w/ nice travel case - $20 (4.5 in. screen. Case hooks to back of car seat. Lid is broken-have to use tape to close it, otherwise works fine)
8. JVC receiver and 5 speakers - $20 (One of the inputs is blown out, but all speakers work)9. Laptop computer and case - $30 (15" Dell Inspiron 7500, 450 MHz, connector to screen needs repair in order to work as laptop, or can connect to external monitor and will work)
10. We're also selling our hot tub w/ gazebo enclosure - $400 obo, but you have to take it away, which may or may not need a small crane to get it over the wall (very nice 4 person jetted hot tub, great for ABQ winters, gazebo is a bit weather worn)

Neighborhood yard sale reminder
If you're going to set up a spot in my driveway, make sure you bring your own cash for change (each "vendor" will be responsible for selling their own stuff).
If you only have a few things you'd like to get rid of, I'll sell them for you and give you the cash when you collect your unsold items that afternoon. Please bring them marked with prices to my house by Friday evening with a list of your inventory and low/high prices you'd like to sell them for.
FYI here is a list of some of the cool items everyone is looking to sell:
a double jogging stroller, car seats, girls bike (age 7), 2 bathroom storage pieces, solid oak table/desk, a ladder, barstools, a glider/rocker, 2 working ceiling fans, like new blinds, double pond buckets/equipment, a motorcycle.
See you then!

A steal on Piano Tuning
1) It must be done in May or June (and he's already booked through May 15th)
2) You need to say that Melissa S. referred you.
If you are interested, please call him ASAP- Greg Gombert 400-3045
To be fair, my favorite tuner is Jean-Luc (at 259-2368). He is extremely thorough (to the point of being almost nit-picky) and is all around a great guy. He does charge $80 or so for a tuning, so if you just want a less expensive tuning call Greg.
