I'm not sure if you guys know that every year each state does what they call a "Tax Holiday" where you do not have to pay taxes on certain items.
New Mexico is having their Tax Holiday this weekend August 3rd-5th.
This is the time to save a little extra money while doing your back-to-school shopping since you will NOT have to pay taxes on:
- All clothing and shoes less than $100 each
- Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Notebooks, and other Computers under $1,000 & Computer Hardware under $500
- All School Supplies less than $30 each
You'll be surprised at really how much you can save not paying taxes on the items! So get out this weekend and try to get some good tax-free back-to-school shopping done!
