Jenny Oaks Baker

Master of Music, Juilliard; former first violinist, National Symphony Orchestra; albums include Wish Upon a Star

Music Artist
You don't need an entire symphony when you're listening to the violin being played by the highly acclaimed and accomplished Jenny Oaks Baker. From the fun to the serene, Jenny's repertoire of music is an impressive musical feast (symphony not included).

Heidi S. Swinton

Award-winning screenwriter; author, To the Rescue: The Biography of Thomas S. Monson

On the Lord’s Errand
President Monson has been a servant and example of one who is “on the Lord’s errand.” Sharing little-known experiences from the life of the prophet and her own experience studying that life as his biographer, Heidi offers a powerful message about the importance to “seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written” and about how we can all be instruments in the Lord’s hands.

Dean Hughes

Best-selling author; Children of the Promise and Hearts of the Children series

Zion’s Not Far from Here
At times, in our homes or communities, it may feel that we are far from experiencing anything like “Zion.” Although we may not be asked to “gather to Zion” right now, we are still asked to create Zion, and Dean shares some key ways to help us achieve a little more Zion today.

SATURDAYPROGRAM

Hilary Weeks

Top-selling female LDS artist; singer; songwriter; author; albums include If I Only Had Today and Every Step

Music Artist
You said you can't imagine TOFW without her; happily, you don't have to. Hilary is not just a great songwriter and incredible performer; she is first and foremost a woman—a wife, a mother, a daughter, and a sister. Her humor and her testimony make every event perfect.

Mariama Kallon

Survivor of war-torn Sierra Leone, humanitarian advocate; DVD, Delivered by Hope

Give Thanks in All Things
Do we heed the invitation from the Lord to “give thanks in all things”—even the difficult things? Mariama’s zest for life and her boundless gratitude for her blessings are contagious. Get ready to count your blessings in a new way as you come to see the power and importance of gratitude… in ALL things.

DeAnne Flynn

Author, The Time-Starved Family and A Mother’s Mite

What Mothers Forget to Remember
Mental meltdowns, brain cramps, “momnesia" moments—most of us are all too familiar with frequent forgetfulness. And we sometimes even fail to remember what is truly essential for our families, and for us. But by re-memorizing a few simple principles, by heart, we can (and will) realize greater joy and success as we seek the good in motherhood.

Anthony Sweat

Full-time religious educator; co-author of the best-selling books WHY? and HOW?

The Truth about Charity
We focus on the theme “charity never faileth,” but have we come to understand what that really means? As we understand three aspects, or “truths,” of charity, we will not only have charity but become more like Christ through charity.

Wendy Ulrich

Founder, Sixteen Stones Center for Growth, LLC; author, Forgiving Ourselves and Weakness Is Not Sin

The Sacred Power of Apology
Ineffective apologies can actually make things worse, but practicing the skills of effective apology can unleash great spiritual power in us and others. Wendy shares how this detailed skill can often be the gift to smoothing the path to forgiveness and strengthening relationships.

Laurel Christensen

V.P. Product Development, Deseret Book Company; author, He Loves Us and We Love Him

What Are You Waiting For?
Do you ever feel like you're waiting for a new opportunity or a new week (or a new year)? And while you're waiting, it seems that life is on hold? Although the scriptures invite us to “wait patiently for the Lord” (Psalm 40:1), nowhere do they tell us to sit while we’re waiting. There are things life can’t wait for you to do and that you aren’t expected to wait for—even while you might have to wait on the Lord for a time.
