Balloon Museum Family Fun Days

To celebrate its five year anniversary, the Albuquerque Balloon Museum has announced plans to launch several new programs in 2011. The "Five Years and Rising" theme begins with Family Fun Days, which take place the second Saturday of each month. The new program will highlight a different theme each month, such as science, flight, weather, art and the museum's exhibitions. Family FunDays will include activities such as flying with remote-controlled balloons, kites and parasails, along with art and science projects.

The first Family FunDay will be on Saturday, January 8, from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Admission is $4 for adults ($3 for NM residents), $2 for seniors 65+, $1 for children 4 - 12 and children 3 and under are admitted free of charge.

There is never a fee for parking at the Balloon Museum, and its location in the city's northeast corridor makes it easily accessible to visitors from the north and west.
