Calico Captive by Elizabeth Speare historical fiction French/Indian War 1750ish- excellent read recommended by Michelle C.
Founding Mothers; The Women who Raised our Nation by Cokie Roberts- non-fiction digging into the women and mothers who influenced the founding fathers, recommended by Delight P.
The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot, biography of the 1st woman diagnosed with cervical cancer in the 1950's and how her tumor's cells have been used in labs worldwide, FASCINATING
The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton, a gripping mystery- page turner, excellent read recommended by Sara R.
