Health Insurance

In a few weeks we will no longer be on a group plan for health insurance. I've been shopping around for individual coverage and was shocked to find out that individual plans here in New Mexico offer no maternity coverage. That means if we want to have another baby we'd be responsible for paying out of pocket the $25,000 + in medical bills.....yikes! Does anyone know of an individual health plan (not offered through an employer) that offers maternity coverage or a supplemental insurance that can help with these costs? Any help you can offer would be great! Please leave a comment here or email me at hollyyorgason{at}gmail{dot}com.

  1. Get the hospital indemnity supplemental insurance through aflac. My husband used to sell it and I know several women who have used it and made money on it. You don't have to tell drs or hospitals that you have it, the money goes right to you. You have to be on it for 10 months before you have the baby is the only catch.
