Katie has expressed a strong desire to learn how to dance--ballet, specifically--so we're looking at some dance studios in town. She's 4 (will be 5 in September). Does anyone have any recommendations or know of places that I should avoid? I've seen good reviews online for Elite Dance Studios. Has anyone danced there? Any advice would be appreciated!
I just signed up Hattie at Dimensions. They seem to be really great, very professional, and the owner is very nice and down to Earth. You can kind of do as much or as little as you like, from one class without even participating in the recital, up to as much performance and competition as you want. We've been to two classes so far and I'm pretty impressed. I also snagged one of their past recital DVD's and the dances were all very tastefully done in all of the age groups.
